What the fuck
Has The Green Man become our new Edgehill

I just don't see the appeal of stopping in one pub all day, just because its close to wembley. I like to wander, we're the wanderers, fuck the Ducky Boys,Del Bombers and the Wongs, fuck em all.

I know what you mean but we have 16 on our mini bus a few kids and it's hard to get us all in other places

I know this will sound silly but......

Take time to walk down Wembley Way.

Pay respect to Robert Frederick Chelsea Moore.

Watch sea of blue approaching Wembley keeping an eye out for Ray.

Enter ground. If on 1st level find City 69 cup final pictures.

Pint or two in ground paying extra 90p per pint to avoid mud, rain, crush and all other attractions of the Green Man!

Soak up the atmosphere with fellow Blues keeping an eye out for those who will be unable/or make no attempt to watch the actual match!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the unique final build up and then the game itself.

This all sounds lovely but I'll probably just spend the afternoon getting bladderd in an awful pub singing innapropriate songs and go and watch the match.

Each to their own and all that.
Agreed. In reality I try and do a bit of both!

-- Fri May 10, 2013 12:22 pm --

Re: Where to drink around Wembley if it's raining?

Bar called Moore spice opposite Wembley Stadium is not bad, if a little pricey. About £4.50 a pint

Are you allowed to drink in the streets around wembley?

Not like the non drinking zone round the etihad then...

Yeah the police in the four times we've been there are pretty relaxed from what i've seen.

Drinking in London town

We are going to be getting into Euston for about 11:30am tomorrow. Don't fancy going straight to Wembley so was thinking maybe a few beers in the centre of London.

Anyone else doing this and has anyone any suggestions for preferred establishments?
