Wembley The National Disgrace

Not sure about that. There’s plenty of big stadiums knocking about in areas with no-where near the infrastructure of Birmingham. None of them are quite as big as Wembley admittedly but don’t think it would be even close to insurmountable.

Not that it’s ever going to happen now though, so don’t really know why we’re all going on about it.

Get our owners buy a rugby club and build a giant stadium for fun. Use shares of it to pay our managers

My dad used to say that after the war they looked at blackpool area for a replacement for wembley
he said that at the time it had a superb railway system in,plenty of accommodation as most of the football would be played in late autumn early spring when the local hotels and bnbs would be looking for trade,looking at it now it didn’t seem like such a bad idea

FA Cup final Blackpool would be equal parts brilliant and terrifying. Unlike London the B&Bs are pretty packed together so you'd have two sets of pissed up supporters all drinking and staying in a relatively small area. It would be fine when we've played teams like Sunderland or Wolves but it would be kicking off all over the place with some other teams.
FA Cup Final at the seaside would be a great piss up though.

It would be perfect actually. City could use South station and have the South Promenade and St. Anne’s.

United could have North station and have the North Promenade and Fleetwood.

And all the hoolies could have a pre-arranged meet up on the beach outside the tower for donkey rides and a scrap.

The idea of putting the national stadium in the Midlands was totally unworkable. London's the only City in England that has the public transport infrastructure to host a national stadium without everything else grinding to a halt.

That's not how things should be but it's how they are.

There is infrastructure as far as airports and rail. The road system is a joke and the underground little better.
