i went into our coach firm to pay off my balance this morning and thay still not been informed of any specific route,i also spoke to the copper that is dealing with the city coaches on thurday as i wanted to know about the meeting that they had with the metropoliton police about this fixture,he is a sound bloke and said to be honest they dont really know how to police it as its an unprecedented fixture,as of this thursday gone they still were not sure if specific routes would be asigned as coaches for both teams would be comming from other parts of the country and not just manchester,so if this information is true then they must of had a quick decission on friday...i hope this route is true as its going to ruin the stop over we have booked...i await for conformation,,oh by the way the copper in charge of the the rag busses is a blue too as i spoke to him by mistake on my initial enquiry ....good man

Surely routes can only be advisory. I can understand that they may well want to allocate specific service stations to city or rags and attempt to inforce this, but cant see how they can inforce travel routes. We're going M1 from Sheff all the way, not goin to change that route for anyone!!!

The routes will be advisory for independant travellers, but if a coach company is told that City fans are to use one route and rags a different one, then the drivers would be risking their jobs to go any other route (especially if the bus then pulled into a service station and got wrecked), or if a owner driver coach would you risk your livelihood by going against police advice?

Even in a self drive hired mini-bus, the deposit could be at risk by going the "wrong route"

Re: How are ticket sales going?

If you're going earlyish tomorrow, remember you enter the ground at entrance W, just to the left of the main entrance, fill out the form at the desk and then queue VIA the concourse and out into the ticket office queue barriers. And good luck, hope as many on here as possible get fixed up.

Re: How are ticket sales going?

What 'basic questions' do they ask?
was gonna go down at 6 tomorrow but i don't want to get there and wait 3 hours with no other fucker there

There'll be people starting to get there at about that time probably.

You get a form which asks for supporter numbers, dates of birth and postcodes, as well as how you're buying (loyalty points, groups etc) and which category you want. Fill that in and take it with you in the queue and give it in when you get served, along with your cards.

I can't wait to finally get my hands on a ticket myself.

Re: 'Blue' and 'Red' Route to Wembley Confirmed

The club said its a load of bollocks about routes and which to go down, as somebody said it will be advisory.
Not sure about official coaches I.E the club ones or others, but private hired and general vechiles driving down dont have to go a specific route at all.
