Being the bearer of happy Wembley news

Me and my mates managed to get together a spare ticket for Wembley through one of us who isn't going. Between us we know plenty of people after them. We decided to give it to my cousin who's in the navy. He's a lifelong blue, followed us round the country all his life, was there in the second division, was stuck outside Wembley 99 without a ticket, has flown the blue flag around the world on his travels.

He's never had a seasoncard and hasn't even got a Citycard now as he lives in Portsmouth and is at sea for large parts of the year. When he's home for the weekend he always tries to get to see the blues and, even though he only sees us know about twice a year, he's City through and through.

I just rang him and told him he could ahve the ticket and he went ballistic: "Ohhh I'm ecstatic mate ooooohhh you fucking panther (!) Come on City!" and all that I could hear him bumping into things.

What a lovely moment. Anyone else been the bearer of happy Wembley news?

Out of interest what points is it on? The OS isn't clear as it says 1,750 on one part of the page then 2000 on another part. Ive got mine but just interested to see if the club were correct with their estimations.

thats the way to distribute any spares....give em to the most deserving blue you know, not flog em for a quick butty.Any spares on our coach go to people whose paid for the bus and not got a ticket, at face value.
