Being the bearer of happy Wembley news

Thanks to blue1969 off here I've just made my mates journey back up here from Euston all the merrier.
My mate mouse use to be a right naughty Bastard following City all over the country back in the day, he works down London so it's not easy for him to get to lots of games but when he does he takes his lad with him all the time. He's now Wembley bound and buzzing his tits off right this minute.

Re: Being the bearer of happy Wembley news

My distant second cousin on my half sisters stepdad's side is a rag and him and 2 mates have been struggling for tickets via the swamp so I got them 3 tickets through contacts I have at City in our end. They were well chuffed when I told them. Freebies too !

This lad paid double for a pro in the windows of Amsterdam to sing "Blue Moon" whilst he gave her one.

His favourite party story is that he shot an Afghani bloke whilst street fighting becuase he had a United shirt on.

I saw him once, from the City end, make a stand against the entire Bolton "end" who were trying to chase him out after he celebrated Mark Kennedy's winner.

Fuck loyalty points, these are the things which should matter ;-)

Just PM's you mate. Think he may be swinging a latern reference the Afghan story. Still it makes good reading/listening to those that do not know

Wembley Trains: No Segregation!!!

If your going to wembley on the train, you may want to read this! City and untied fans will be mixed in together, this will be chaos!

Police in extra time warning over FA Cup semi-final trains
Mike Keegan

April 08, 2011

City and United fans could be stranded in London if the Wembley derby clash goes to extra time.
Transport police fear fans who travel to the big game by train could end up stuck on the platforms after the game.
More than 60,000 United and City supporters will flock south for the all-Manchester FA Cup semi final at Wembley on April 16, with many going by train.
British Transport Police have told the M.E.N. they will launch their biggest-ever operation for a football match to deal with the mass exodus and return.
More than 80 officers are to be drafted in – some from as far away as Wales – and many will travel with the fans.
Virgin has chartered five extra services for the match.
These trains, which have 439 seats each, will be held back if the tie goes to extra time.
But because there are fewer normal services late in the evening there are fears that fans not travelling by the special trains will be left on the platform if the match runs late.
With tensions sure to be running high that could cause extra security headaches for transport police.
The match kicks off at 5.15pm and if the scores are level after 90 minutes, extra time will be played. Penalties would then follow if the two teams are still level. That would leave many fans not arriving at Euston until after 9pm.
A transport police source said: “It is something we are considering and it could cause problems.
“We are launching our biggest-ever operation but we need the co-operation of the fans.
“They need to make sure that if they are travelling by train then they have a seat booked for the trip home.”
He added that plans to segregate fans on separate trains were unworkable.
He said: “It just was not possible and that could have created more problems than it would have solved. We would ask fans from both clubs to remember that they are acting as ambassadors for Manchester.”
