Wenger proved today that he's an idiot.

5 years without a trophy and he picks a team "just good enough to win" lol.
Well he got that wrong.

Then he tries to save his ass by bringing on Arshavin, Eduardo and Ramsey with 25mins left lol.

Away to Stoke is one of the toughest places to play period. Even with the top team's best squad's you still don't win there. He goes there with a junior squad?

Happy as punch anyway. One less top 4 team out the FA Cup.
Can't wait to read what the french idiot has to say about this game.

That's Utd, Liverpool and now Arsenal OUT!

Avoid chelsea and spuds in next round,
get a home tie,
last 8 here we come,
not talked about city like this for yrs,
happy days,

We had a last 8 (q/f) game at home to Wet Spam the year they got to the final against Dipperpool (2006?). That was our last sniff at a final appearance.

I was just thinking this, if it was any other manager the fans would be calling for his head by now but doesnt worry me as we must be one of the favourites after Chelsea now

TBF, he's putting a top 2 spot, and maybe winning the thing above the FA cup. Most of us would take that.

Only Chelsea have the strength in depth to compete on all fronts.

Arsenal have Villa and Utd in 7 days. Something had to give

Wenger is an arrogant bastard and a bad loser.Spuds will struggle to beat Leeds away now.I'll take anyone at home including Chelsea. After that,Stoke could be a potentially tricky tie and Birmingham or Villa.

Apart from a year later at Blackburn.

;-P

I think it's crazy. Considering how hard it is to win the Champions League and the fact that United and Chelsea have more strength in depth to win the Premier League, I thought he had to really go for the FA Cup.. it was easily their most realistic chance of winning a trophy. If they do win the title of the CL then fair enough, but I can't see either happening really...

I really can't see any Arsenal fan being happy about today.

100% sure that not even the Arsenal players believe that they will win the PL...much less the CL.

Champions league qualification is more important than domestic cups because of the money involved, the only reason the domestic cups mean anything to us is because we haven't won anything for so long. Once we get that monkey off our back I'd be happy to see us adopt Arsenal's policy of using the cups to blood the youngsters.

I think a lot of Arsenal fans would tell you they'd love to win a trophy, any trophy, this season. Furthermore, even if they were to progress to the latter stages of the FA Cup and it affected their league form, it would take 2 teams to gain over 10 points on them by the end of the season for them to lose their Champions League spot. Highly unlikely.
