Who was he signing with?

I believe he was signing for Lille and fled his hotel in the middle of the night before the second day of his medical after Monaco and Lille had agreed terms and the player had agreed terms.

The amusing part of this? Wenger (and all of Arsenal really) are hot to sign Eden Hazard. I mean they're having hot flashes thinking about it. Who does Hazard play for? Lille. Who is furious with Wenger and Arsenal? Lille.

So he hijacked a deal more or less to sell merchandise in Asia and royally ticked off a club he's trying to convince to sell him their best player.
