We're in trouble

Re: Were in trouble

We won ok. We didnt concede ok. The upset we are all suffering comes from expectation. Same performance coupled with the same result will win us the title. Ok the performances will get better Pellegrini will sort it, he knows the team isnt right.

Could this be the most despondent thread that makes us feel so utterly dejected yet on BM?
Come on Blues, the future is bright and we'll get there :)

When I see threads like this (e.g. right after winning a game) I sometimes wonder if they post on here in order to stop themselves from entering the BME Pain Olympics. (I advise people not to watch, just know that it's people filming themselves hurting their junk for no good reason.)

I cannot understand any other reason than that one.
When City win, and you get a topic like this, it tells you that we really are in trouble

Maybe this is inevitable with new signings and a new manager. But those who highlight that all is not well are only pointing out the glaringly obvious and what was being said at half-time

A hugely encouraging opening game, followed by a harrowing defeat at Cardiff and a very unsettling home win against Hull

Any blue who ignores today's warning signals is an ostrich with his head in the sand

Newcastle had player sent off and got problems dragging on from last season because they don't have money like we do.

Cardiff were determined to kill the game and take any opportunity they got.

Hull were determined to kill the game and take great delight in getting a point from a 0-0 draw.

City have few things to sort out I grant you. But, please do fuck off.

Thank you!

Someone with some sanity!

And, unless the BBC website is fucked. As I type it's 0-0 in all 3pm games!

-- Sat Aug 31, 2013 4:30 pm --

You do know we finished 2nd in the league last season? Oh, and we got in the final of the F.A. Cup. Granted we won fuck all, but I'd rather be City right now than Arsenal.

Re: Were in trouble

First half was shockingly bad, 442 isn't working for us and pushing up that high with Lescott and Kolorov in the back four was asking for trouble. Ineffectual pressing from our forward players, Dzeko looked looked like he couldn't be arsed the exact opposite of his attitude versus newcastle.

On the plus Negredo looks up for the challenge he has to start next game and Kolorov made some vital tackles that ought to please some. Zabaleta also improved significantly from Cardiff.

Re: Were in trouble

Ok, we didn't look like Brazil 1970 but saying we're in trouble is not helping. A bit more positivity would help the new management team and players.

And a bit better performances from the playerss would allow the fans to have a bit more positivity. It was awful today.

Re: Were in trouble

What a ridiculous thread

We have a new manager (new to the Prem) new players and our Captain out injured, some people need to get a grip, true today's performance was not great, but come on! The season is still very young

My concern is , against better opposition like the rags, we will ship 3 or 4 goals if we allow them the amount of time to play in midfield. Just yaya and fernandiho in the middle isnt enough.

It should of been 10...

Honestly, do you really think we would play like that against a team like Nited or Chelsea? Really ?

Marvin is correct. You can say we got the 3 points and all that, if that was a better team we would of been destroyed today. A defeat to Cardiff and then a home performance like that to Hull.... How can some fans moan about other fans being worried? Something just isn't ticking in the team, maybe we need someone like Barry or Rodwell in there.

Re: Were in trouble

The thread is not a player bashing thread,it's purely a noticeable fact on this seasons displays, joleon is out of his depth, previous displays in the league and Europe, have already shown how inept he can be at times.

WE must bring in a quality cb,who has pace, and who we can depend on.Otherwise were in for a very similar season to last. Then we will be having the same post mortems, and similar results. Not looking forward to Southampton and Sunderland already.

Made up with Negrado today,a bright note, worked hard out of possession, and got around the pitch and supported well in possession.

Half our problem is that we defend a far too high. There's a massive gap between our back line and the goalkeeper which is OK if you have mobile centre backs. Unfortunately Lescott isn't the quickest and as a result we struggle.
But at least he's better than Garcia!
Happy days, a win and 3 points

Excluding the last line, that's a load of sh1te

Re: Were in trouble

no champagne football today but didn't concede and won 2 zip.
its a new system with a new set of players.
FFS give it time.
booing at half time well.
the squad are still sorting the shape and the system out.
without VK we are half the team we all know that give it time and we will realise this was a great 3 points.

Re: Were in trouble

LESCOTT IS ! Wooden, mechanical, bambi on ice,a fucking fashion designer wannabee, and has took his eye of the ball.

There was booing at half time? That is out of order
