When fat Bob scored the 2nd for Gillingham I was devastated..I thought fuck me we're staying down.
When Dicky scored I was gobsmacked and knew we were going to win.
Funny thing is I took my son to the game and all week he had said we will win on penalties..I said no chance we will win easily..
Great celebrations on the train going home.
It made queueing up from 8.45 till 8.15 for tickets..
Her indoors said I was mad lol..

Went to a lot of games that season but was only 10. I knew winning at Wembley was huge but I never knew how bad losing could have been at the time.

There used to be a video in me grandads cabinet, a vhs obviously, the rise and rise of Manchester City I almost wore that out in school holidays
