I know some of you love this song and others hate it - but don't you think it sort of works better now that it seems we might well assemble a world-class team? As opposed to being just another team that no one really thought about when it came to the big things, if we do become successful this song is really cool to use. It's always been ironic anyway, but I think it's taken to another level now that people are taking notice, don't you think? Like a big piss-take of people who never saw us as a threat. That's how I see it anyway.

And to think this song started in a Pub In Prestwich in Respect to a Friend of ours who tragically past away .The full version is. If you drink you will die .If you dont drink you will die .So it is better to be drunk .Than be sober when you die .just like the ect ect .Then we stated singing it in the Pubs In Ireland & at the Cork branch ,it has no reall meaning & certainly nowt to do with Football .It was very catchy in its day .Then all sorts of myths came on the scene about who / how it started .

Now it's more of a "pinch me, I'm dreaming" kind of interpretation. That's what's great about things with no specific meaning - they are always the most meaningful.
