To be fair,it's the same select bunch of clowns who come out of the woodwork after every game.

Modern Football isn't about pace, watch Barcelona and Real Madrid and that's fairly evident. The patient passing game is the best way to beat teams, it didn't quite work out today because as someone posted earlier, we were playing on a rugby pitch.

That's wrong. Yes Barca play patient football but what they do is run around constantly and then put in a short sharp bust of pace (which you need to have in the first place) to move away from their opponent and then can be passed the ball. And anyway did you know watch Barca v Real (5-0) they were frighteningly lightning quick. Passing it in triangles at immense speed and creating a chance on the end of it. Barca do not just pass it around slowly for 90minutes at all! The ball might be just tapped into space slowly but look at the movement, it's spriting speed over three metres!

Look at Silva. He plays in that style and he doesn't just stroll or walk around, he works very fuckin hard and has to inject a lot of short sharp pacey five yard runs. And he does it all the time. Barry Vieira Milner Jo etc do not have this pace to lose their man therefore they can't be given the ball.
