We're still favourites - WHY?

Has there ever been a situation like this before? A team languishing in 8th place, 9 points off the pace and slated by the media on an almost daily basis are favourites for the title with 11 games played.

I think anything but a win tomorrow and this may change. If we win will our odds shorten?

Because we have the best 11 out there and if we get it fit for the majority of the season and firing we will win this league.

Best 11 maybe
Best person to get the best out of them..far from it.

The end of the season will tell us that, not now.

We had the best squad last year but lost the league by February.
We will win it this year with a euro run to boot..

Seriously mate..we have to win tomorrow. I am quite confident but worse case scenario happens..then what??all for an extra two games in the cl and a few million quid?

We have to win every game because the investment in the squad demands that but we wont and no team ever would do that.

The league is won and lost over 38 games and not 11 and it wont be until the end of May before I make a final judgement on Pellegrini. Ive said earlier that as a fan its all about the league for me but as a club, I realise its all about the CL and the difference in winning the league or finishing 2nd or 3rd is fuck all from a financial point of view and the result is the same....CL football the season after.

Bob failed consistently to get us performing in the CL and it paid for him in the end, as it has done previously in his career.

So far Pellegrini has taken us to the next step in the CL and come the end of May, could well have delivered another league title and possible domestic cup success as well so we should just wait and see what happens as he isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Its November yet far too many on here seemingly have written the season off and its ridiculous imo.
