This is great news. It isn't on total wealth but what we are bringing in revenue-wise. This shows that we have grown hugely as a brand already. We're the biggest climbers in the Deloitte list with 43.8% increase in revenue (£125.1m from £87m). I believe this would also prove we're the fastest growing club in the world?

Can't paste the article because of graphics but a summary is here:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2011/02/10/2345331/real-madrid-the-worlds-richest-football-club-again-in" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer ... b-again-in</a>

And the list:

1. Real Madrid
2. Barcelona
3. Salford Red Sox
4. Bayern Munich
5. Arsenal

This is good news with the financial fair play rules that will be put in effect soon. Hopefully we can continue our growth! Good work city!

Yeah seen a piece in the Sun! But they put another spin on it! Manchester City are NOT the richest club in the world! Doh! If you notice most of them other club have had champion league football for years! We are just starting out and an increase by 43% in revenue is unheard off! Get champion league football plus bigger sponsorship deal we'll be right behind the scum!

This is based on our figures released last May (?), and as we are the club 'on the up' it is possible there would be a decent increase on this come this May - relative to other clubs. This should mean we are actually going to go even higher quite quickly.

On the reverse side it's what we spend that matters!

So next season hopefully add CL money plus the Tv revenue from that plus gate receipts plus more money for finishing higher up the table add to that the extra commercial revenue from sponsors. We can become the fastes growing club in world football. Thats without expansion and the leisure destination etc.

That link seemed to lead to a fake anti-virus Malware attack. Beware those with poor protection or using work computers.

I'm sure we already are the fastest growing. And Liverpool's next results will be pretty dire, so they will start dropping.

So is mcfc publically traded? and if so can an average joe like me invest in mcfc? sorry i'm just starting my investment portfolio, prolly a dumb question. does anyone know the companys symbol?

Just think with say an extra 20k seats including corporates matchday revenue will rise considerably along with food/drink sales merchandise.

CL every year (hopefully) all the extra Tv revenues extra commercial deals.

Naming rights to stadium a very large shirt sponsor, the leisure attraction... estimated 2mill visitors per year spending what ££££ on their visit??

I bet within 5 years we are turning over 350 mill a year if not more.
