Yeah, that’s football. That’s what happens. Liverpool are currently performing even worse than we were. Klopp is still an absolutely top coach though and they’ll come good again just like we have.

It’s nothing to do with the past. It’s about judging someone over a period of time. 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st would be an INCREDIBLE record if we were to go on and win the title from here. A record never bettered in the history of football in this country.

Comparing Lampard to Pep is moronic considering Chelsea are mid table and City were 2nd for most of last season following back to back league titles. I dunno, looking at how things are panning out, maybe I just see things in a better way than you do.

Let’s face it, there used to be rags ringing into the after match phone ins in the 90’s and 00’s saying Fergie’s time was up whenever they had bad defeat or poor run of form.

Sian M-E used never to get offsides wrong. Have they done the vertical lines to show how close it was (his head was further forward than his feet)? But why would she flag at that point? Still, haven't we had a couple of attacks stopped this season by wrong offside flags?

I missed the first half - so watching it after the event I was actually a bit disappointed after all Robbie Savage's "magnificents". Total control, but not really total football - not against a team that's really not very good. Better yet to come, I hope.

We've never been this good in terms of fluidity under Pep. Not even in 17/18 or 18/19. Once Torres and Jesus come back into full form, with KDB and Aguero back fit too, we'll be something unseen. Almost Total Football.

Some of the results and football played in 17/18 was the very best this country has ever seen, over a sustained period of many months. We've only just recently started to approach that level.

Just my humble opinion, but I can't tell you the number of games sitting in the East stand having my breath taken away by the range, quality of passing and deft movement...simply awe-inspiring.
