West Brom (h) post-match thread

The Season is over.

Roll on the summer and make some proper changes to the first 11.

3-4 players need sold.

3 quality players purchased- CF,LB, AM.

No point looking at the table each week.

The attack is broken and will not be fixed this season.

Happy,
Happy happy
Happy talk.

Talk about things you'd like Pep to do

If you don't have a team?

(do we have a team?)

How we gonna make top four come true?

Terrible doesn’t even describe it.

Something is very wrong, and I know other clubs are facing problems but so awful to experience.

Not fun in any way whatsoever.

Title gone. Hope gone.

Going to be a long season.

No sane fan would fancy us in CL.

A lot of work to do.

I think I think after a few years at every club, where he undoubtedly creates success, Pep becomes too outlandish and loses the plot a bit. At that point he needs someone to hold him to account, to say that's too much or that that was not acceptable. Whilst I think the last few months have proven that Arteta is not the best manager of sorts, I do think he held Pep to account more than anyone at the club. Without him, Pep runs riot with crazy and stubborn tactics and there is nobody - both in the coaching staff and above - who will tell him that this is currently not good enough. And that is the truth about it, we are an absolute turgid watch at the moment.

Gundogan, KDB and Foden the only ones to come out of that with any grace. What on earth has happened to Raz?

Let me guess Pep will say he is so so happy and we just didn’t take our chances... oh do fuck off

Pep showed more energy arguing with the 4th official near the end of the game than he got his team to produce in 94mins

That was horrendous.

This is the worst team we’ve had since Hughes’ first season. In the recent transition of players, the quality has dropped so dramatically, the collective now is fairly average.

And we’re playing like it.

Glad we went much more attacking with the awesome Gundogan and Rodri combination. Makes that point at United look even better doesn’t it?

If yer can't beat WBA at home then the season is well and truly buggered. There isn't a team, no matter how abysmal, how devoid of any ambition, who don't think they can get a goal. We keep a clean sheet and the jobs's done. There can't be a greater statistical battering of any team this season! I'm just glad I wasn't in the ground watching it.

Roll on the women's game tomorrow.

At least it wasn’t 0-0. The seven clean sheets on the run clappers would have been jumping for joy.

We just aren’t very good anymore. It’s as simple as that. We have no leaders and we have a manager who looks like he doesn’t know how to change it.

Top 4 is 50/50 for me this season.
