i was thinking this is a very big game tonight for many reasons. but the one that will matter most is the 3 points and city winning. football is a crazy sport and the ups and downs are masked by a long season and winning silverware
the game itself vs WBA at home will be down as a home banker by many ? but respect has to be given to everybody in the premier league. all it takes is a daft moment and slip up or a sending off or WBA have that game of their life and turn us over

but if we are going to be true title chasers we have to start sending out the message of intent and put a marker down
liverpool will be thinking city are miles off with the start they have had. they will not be looking over the shoulders at city with much fear at the moment

but that game in hand and a win tonight put us in the shadows of them and spurs and for me will starts the fire under city and we can push on fast. the crazy christmas fixtures means you win 3 or 4 in a row its a different story

so i normally say just get the 3 points and move on ? but we have to start to play and look to have goals a plenty again and send little messages of intent
