West Brom Post Match Thread

Thought we played some good football. Our strongest available team would have Nasri & DeBruyne in it right now imo. If Nasri keeps that up, Pep might keep him.

Notice that when DeBruyne & Yaya came on, the attacking inspiration improved & the huge hole appeared in midfield which even West Brom were able to spring attacks through (albeit there was a smaller hole beforehand). This should be a warning for Tuesday.

Feel sorry for Bony. He has no role in the team. One decent diagonal ball in 60 mins. Got in an ok header. At Swansea he would get 20 attempted passes like that & a few would result in chances.

Either use him properly or drop him permanently. The current situation is ridiculous.

I think if we used him 'properly' it would mean Aguero staying on the bench. Yesterday saw Sergio in a peculiar role, at times picking the ball up just inside the Baggie half. Wilf is a lone-wolf. That's the way I think he played at Swansea and it worked for him. His finishing also seemed to be a lot sharper too. The strengths in his game are not conducive to Peller's style of play, nor Guardiola's.
