John Motson claiming that Balotelli is lucky not to have a red card, which just goes to show that even people who have been watching football as long as him are taken in by the hype surrounding certain players.
I know that Mario is petulant, but he didn't even deserve a yellow and it shouldn't be too much to ask for referees to officiate on facts rather than reputation.

Not exactly the first time a player has gone down from contact.

I've just watched Chris Kirkland going down like a sack of shit after a little push from a fan, so I don't know why the commentator is picking on Mario (unless it's because he hasn't got an original thought in his head).

The commentator said he hates to see PLAYERS do that, go down and fake an injury, which Mario did.

He didn't 'pick' on Mario, and seeing as it was Mario who did it, why would he bring up anyone else?

He touched his face, so what? the WBA player should of got a yellow for pulling him by the throat, much more deserving than Mario's, if they want to play dirty their fair game.
