Good win, and credit to Joe Hart, he stopped a fair bit of those first half tricky shots. And I don't blame him for the 2nd half goal, it was hard enough seeing the ball on the tele.

They had way more shots than us, but we aimed better. If there's anything we need to improve on it's the tricky defending on slippery ground that we saw in the first half. Let's keep it going lads!

Disappointed. Pretty poor 2nd half performance, should have gone on to win that by 5/6goals...easing up like that is not the sign of a team capable of winning the league especially as conditions were ideal after the break for pushing on.
Clearly, Hart's new contract has gone to his head...well, what else can you attribute that late sloppiness? Goals like that can end up costing you the league if it's tight and goes to goal difference.
I'd drop him for the Burnley match, teach him a lesson.
I'm glad Silva went off, spared him further embarrassment after another insipid performance....we pay him enough and when we have no fit strikers and need someone to chip in with some goals the wimp can only come up with 3 goals from midfield in 2 games? Give us a break.

Not now you bloody idiots have highlighted it no! :-P

1st half was really impressive again. The team has found a consistency that, if it stays, will make them one of the best in Europe I think. It's just a shame we started the season so slowly or we'd be above Chelsea now.

2nd half was insignificant and anyone moaning about that really is spoilt. The weather deteriorated increasing the risk of injury and making it hard to play beautiful football. So City, most likely deliberately, allowed their level to drop and saved energy, knowing West Brom didn't have 3 goals in them. This could pay off against Burnley who will have worked a lot harder against Liverpool today and have fewer rotation options.

High praise indeed!

Granted West Brom are not a good team but that first half performance was brilliant

"It was a magnificent Manchester City in the first half and it brought back memories of Spain in the sunshine playing with a false no. 9. David Silva did that job perfectly for them today. The snow came down in the second half and West Brom tightened it up, pulled a goal back, but by then City had taken Silva off. It was a mesmeric display of passing from them in the first half."

I was about to, the penny dropped when he said to drop Hart, when he moved onto Silva he gave it away big time.
