West Brom Vs City Post Match Thread

Great first half from the blues, could see feck all 60mins onwards the conditions were that bad! Also what the fuck was going on between fans having a go at each other?? Saw an old guy with crutches effing and jeffing at two lads in their early twenties who seemed nonplussed and also some guy who shouted over "if he's on our bus I'll kill the c**t" had to be restrained and soon shut up when the policed intervened. Despite the handful of morons doing their best to ruin the match a good day out overall...9 on the bounce!!! CTID

Not being funny but I think We're playing better than last season .
That makes me think we will still win the title .
Like some have said it will be nice to give Mourinho another black eye .
In fact it will be sweet !!!

After seeing the replays on MOTD, I'm still convinced their goal was offside.

Someone on the line, but Lescott got away with another pen on Silva !
Yes there was. ButHart was out from the goal line further than the Baggies scorer was, so he was offside. There wasn't two City players between him and the goal when the "pass" was made.

On MOTD, WBA's goal is clearly offside. As the final touch is beyond Hart with only one City player between him and the goal. Ah well it didn't matter and Hart did make a mistake by not punching it properly in the snowstorm.

I think MDM was on the line but he was the only player in front of the goal scorer, the goal was offside. agree with you about the second pen though.

Just watching MOTD. Alan Irvine giving the impression we won because they were poor. Piss off back to the lower leagues.

We've been consistantly poor for nine games now. Long may it continue.

He also seemed to think we scored with our first attack. He must have missed the one is keeper put behind from Milner

It isn't actually offside. I initially thought it was as well but if you stop the picture when the ball comes off the first West Brom player then you can see that Kolarov is the second player. Only just but he is. However I doubt that the assistant took all that into account.

If it came off the no.9 he was offside, looked like it did tbf

Can't be off side, as it hit Joe first.
It hit a crowd after Joe fucked it up and it looked as though it then hit the no. 9

My thoughts on seeing the replay was that the WBA player was offside, but they deserved a consolation as they created some great opportunities. I'm excusing Joe for the cock-up because prior to that he had a commanding performance. Perhaps he got a snow flake in his eyes and misjudged the ball's flight.

David Silva is simply unbelievably skilful, and in those conditions as well. And this style of play without a recognised striker is absorbing and entertaining to watch. The lads played well, sure a few errors and holes in the defence at times but the weather wouldn't have helped.

Must admit I got rather annoyed with the defence as the pitch deteriorated with the covering of snow. They continued to try the short passes which just didn't carry because of the snow. The ball should just have been booted up the pitch to keep the Baggies having to go and retrieve it thus burning up energy.

And a word on Clattenberg - I thought he had a decent game (by his standards) but why did he have to book Fernando? His tackle was identical to Mulumba's on David in the first half which went unpunished.

Finally I hope that our travelling fans got home safely, driving it that blizzard must have been a nightmare.

I would rather Jonathan Pearce didn't commentate on our games. Id prefer if the BBC selected him to commentate on his favourite team - Chelsea. Bristol City fan? My arse. Just like Anthony Taylor is an Alty fan.

There's some nasty fuckers following City but there always has been, it's nothing new honest, they were there in the 60s right up until today, i'v had loads of run ins with pissed up Blues over the years and when they see you sober at the next game they can't apologise enough, I know what you mean though, they are a pain in the arse

Seemed worse today than usual. I've seen the odd spat between two piss heads before but today was much bigger scale in the concourse. A bloke shouldn't have to battle to get his 5 yr old son away through a bunch of coked up scroats fighting. As for the bloke in his 30's in the aisle of A2 at the end of the game offering everyone out and lashing out....what a tool.

Sorry ...if what u are referring to is wat i seen....the bloke with kid shoudnt of got involved
if its the same incident i saw...the bloke with the lad was pissed.
the bloke had kid in his arms and was confronting stewards,
Kid was screaming.
stewards were aware kid he was screaming and were trying to calm him
bloke could easily of backed off
he should of backed off...he was aggressive, hostile and upsetting his son

not sure why he got angry....but he had a young lad in his arms and he should of backed off

There was more than one fight, "city fans" were assaulting fans queuing at the kiosks by shoving them about and chucking beer in their faces around 2.35pm, one reacted and so four "fans" took turns in punching him in the face.

We do have scum watching us who wouldn't have been there ten years ago, "creating an atmosphere" by attacking other fans.
