I hope Dzeko's recent history in this fixture will spur him on to a good performance!
Kolarov starts, while he's been much improved this season, mid prefer Clichy to start, with Long's speed sure to trouble our back 4, having someone with pace should've been the way to go.
Starting with Aguero and Negredo is always a winning option for us, our strongest team away from home to start would be the way to go IMHO, but it's still very strong, and Aguero to open the scoring for me!

They said a "slight delay" on Talk Shite. Why, though?
Traffic, apparently

It was announced as a 3:15 start on Sunday here in the states so can't be due to traffic.

That is wrong.

The original k-o time was 8:00. The delay until 8:15 is due to the late arrival of both clubs.

Always try something new in the away game like this, no doubt why we can hardly get a point everywhere we go.

Don't get the hate for Kolarov either, Clichy has been shit this season and Kolarov has been our better left back.
To be honest I would have agreed with your opinion for the first five or six games this season when Clichy was definitely off form. I think that in the last few games that has changed. Kolarov gets stick because of his tendency to be caught time and again out of position - this means the left hand side centre back is caught trying to cover whilst he wanders slowly back. No doubt he has a great left foot but I was so angry with him v's Swansea when he took on a ridiculous shot with Nasri (who would have had a hat-trick) just a simple pass inside. Bottom line is tonight I don't care who is in our team as long as we get the win!

Hasn't Pellegrini recently said He won't be leaving City?

Too many throw away comments like that by the type of people that boo their own teams players.

I have NEVER booed Manchester City!

Aimed at Baldy ;) not you Vienna. I don't like the slagging off culture when there's no need for it.

-- Wed Dec 04, 2013 8:31 pm --

Could be a good game for Dzeko, Kolarov and Navas supplying decent crosses.

Kompany in Garcia out I'm happy enough.

Over to Pelle....are we the real deal? Very interesting tonight.

Micah must be pissed off with AK and Clichy rotating and him not getting a chance.

Can't change 3 of the back 4 though. That's what we've done in the past and it's been a debacle. Need solidity and continuity at the back and that starts with playing the same 4 as often as possible.
Only 2 changes to the back 4.

Kompany being an obvious change but there's no need to rotate Clichy and Kolarov

That's my point. If he switched Micah for Zab that would be changing 3 of the 4 and the 4th(Vinnie or Demichelis) playing out of thier regular RCH spot. WOuld be way too much. Would have prefered Clichy to Kolorov but can live with one of the FB's changing not both.

Felt crap before the Sunderland away match but feeling confident about tonight. I can see us setting the ball rolling on a good winning run tonight, 3-0 or 4-1 City

After much criticism, including myself (even 2 minutes before the bet), I've stuck £20 on Dzeko FGS @ 5/1 - good game coming from the lad tonight!

Garbage. Clichy had a few poor games early doors but in the last few weeks he's been excellent.

Kolarov's has actually had a good season but I don't agree with the changes, especially Džeko. I'm pretty fuming unless it turns out Negredo has an injury. Away from home we've been meek as a team and Pellegrini brings in the meekest player in the squad up front.
