I watched the second half in the pub and from what I saw Wimbledon had nothing, it was like watching attack v defence. If West Ham's final ball into the box had been a little better the final score could have easily been 5 or 6-1.The Daily Star (not mine I might add) had the audacity to say that Pellers was lucky - no way was he lucky, the game is 90 minutes long.

If a couple of late goals v a ten man pub team is a good performance, then they did well.

I thought they were completely inept against a side with no attacking threat, no midfield & no defence, with ten men.

Sometimes when a manager is struggling at a new club they'll take a scruffy win like this to kick start their season - also, they're through to the next round and will be drawn against City.

I'm absolutely sure Pellegrini will take it. He was clearly delighted. He did that Tim Henman/Wenger clenched fist thing & part of his mouth curled up into a sort of Christopher Lee smile/sneer.

I really hope it does kickstart their season & wish Pellegrini luck, even though I fear he may actually be worse than anyone ever thought.

But it doesn't change how poor that was last night.
