West Ham 2024/25

Will they be lambasted the same as when Mancini was hired and Hughes fired as we were '
No thought not.

Got a lot of time for West Ham as a club but you have to say this situation is being handled terribly. Lopetegui still taking training this morning despite everyone knowing (including obviously the players he's trying to tell what to do right now) that he's basically been sacked. Just a shambles.
Not that dissimilar to the way the Hughes sacking was handled. Everyone (and his dog) knew that Hughes was heading out the door, yet he still had to manage the side for the game at Spurs, and stand there on the touchline, in the glare of the media. From memory, there was something about Khaldoon not being able to get over to the UK before the game. They couldn't afford a private jet? It was the right thing to do, getting a new manager in; we seemed to be treading water. But it was shoddily handled, iirc.

It was after that shocker at Spurs in the midweek that the decision to sack Hughes was taken, it was the Sunderland match on the following Saturday that was a bit farcical for the reasons you described.

Not how I remember the timeline, but I'm not going to argue about. It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong (or the last). That Spurs game was indeed a shocker; 0-3, wasn't it? We were lucky to get nil as well.

Putting 75 year old Sylvinho up against the very fast and young Aaron Lennon. He must have known he was being sacked at that point, that was well and truly taking the piss.

Media cunts and the witch hunt on Mancini sat in the stands when Sparky was manager

And that Karen Brady is giving constant advice in her newspaper column on how we should be running our club.
I'm surprised Sir Alan hasn't appeared to give his " You're fired" and his customary hand signal in the direction if the exit door.
She could give me constant advice in her newspaper column. She could give me advice in the boardroom. “Come in and sit down Mr Cellarite.” The boardroom door clicks shut, Brady takes her fur coat off to expose a short skirt, stocking tops, and an ill fitting silky blouse. Oh and heels. The highest, slenderest heels. “We need to talk about your performance recently and you need to convince me to keep you on. I need to see a bit of passion from you…”

Anyway, back on topic, Lopetegui’s sacking was inevitable after Saturday and Potter could be a decent appointment. ‘Appy ‘Ammers!

You make 50 shades of grey look at a kids book with those prose.

That sounds about right, Jim. When you look back, Khaldoon didn’t handle that well at all and he can do much better.

They'll sack Potter too. He just won't get the results quick enough. Got to hit the road running with West ham, even then their fans are never happy it seems.

Shame, I like West ham.
I like West Ham too (shame about the Dildo Bros owners) and Potter seems alright. Top 10 would be a result for them but there's a lot of competition - Brentford, Brighton etc
