West Ham 2025/26

Not sure about that. I remember the Moyes out calls and how the fans were fed up with his boring style (no matter that he had brought them) and I certainly got the impression they didnt give him his new contract because of the results and fans moaning. Maybe I misremembered it, but WH fans never seem to be happy with their lot.
They do come across that way. Going on about playing "the West Ham way". They certainly were unhappy with Moyes, despite the fact he's the only manager (that I can recall) in donkey's years to actually win something for them. The managers they've had the Moyesiah (Lopetegui, Potter, NES) haven't exactly set the world on fire. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

fair point, but wouldn't lump me in with that. i loved Moyes and his era was probably the best we've had it in my life time - there was plenty like me but we get drowned out by the moan brigade.

Unlike us ultra positive City fans…

As much as I like West ham their fans bring it all on themselves. Never happy with whatever manager they have no matter how good they are playing.

Maybe their fans like the drama of being a yo-yo sorry if club I mean there's lots more drama involved. But it feels like their fans stop them becoming bigger than they are.

Nail on the head mate.

The board do deserve this treatment, but the fans don't need to be as fickle as they are. The investment/recruitment has been shocking in recent years though.

I can't see anything other than the club going down. The defence isn't good enough, the midfield isn't good enough and they don't want to play their only fit striker because they'd have to pay him.

Cockerknees mate :)

Quite possibly the worst ever performance I’ve seen from West Ham.

We’re in deep trouble.

Leeds and Burnley next 2 of 3 games, simply need to pick up points from them.
Piss poor wasn't it? Bowen and Paqueta are decent enough but there doesn't seem to be much quality in the rest of the squad. 0-2 flattered, it could have been 4 or 5 easily.

I like Nuno, he seems a decent bloke, hope he gets you out of the shit.

Reap what you sow ............a man who won them a trophy made them a solid PL deemed not good enough because he doesnt play the West Ham way :)

So what is the West Ham way ...........winning fook all and getting relegated ?????
Well there getting the West Ham way i suppose
It’s a strange one with Moyes. West Ham offered Moyes a new contract after they beat Arsenal away around Christmas but he didn’t sign it, and then West Ham retracted it after some poor results and said they’d discuss it at the end of the season… at the end of the season both parties agreed that he’d leave.

I dont recall there fans being upset that he went :(

Just another deluded fanbase like the Spuds who sadly believe they are better than what they really are

I quite like West Ham but I think they are the worst team I've seen at ours so far in PL this season. Getting well beaten off Wolves is a terrible result. I can't see them staying up this season unless there is a seismic change there.
I thought they were really terrible too.

Every other team at the Etihad seems to have a go and has a bit of fight. The spirit seemed to have gone from the supporters.

Was never a fan of Nuno at Spurs. Absolutely dreadful. He played not to lose with zero ambition or creativity. He had an array of talent at his disposal too.

Watching The Hammers now reminds me a bit of how we played (and playing now) absolutely turgid stuff.

Next game is going to be huge. West Ham V Forest. If Hammers lose that then they'll be 7 points adrift with even more toxicity floating about. Fingers crossed for that lol

I thought Nuno would turn them around but in the last few games they've looked terrible - worse than Burnley and outclassed by Wolves. Does Nuno get the boot if they lose to Forest in the next game, giving the incoming manager the winter transfer window to work with?

I like West Ham but am fearing the worst for them. Apart from Moyes, their managerial appointments have been utter shite over recent years.

The way they're playing, they're giving pornography a bad name.
