Good luck today my fellow blues.
I’m here nice and early now and have never felt more confident of defeat in my years of going :)

Best hope is our defence can stay strong, hold you out for as long as poss and knock it long for Arnie to do the rest. Be good to see Carrol back.

We have a good run of games after today, so hopefully we can just play with a bit of freedom.

Anyhow. I go for 3-0 City.

For some strange reason i am a little nervous about this game, I have this nagging feeling that after the performance in the derby we may feel this will be easier than it actually is.

That said i have felt this way before and we have come out as comfortable winners.

I really don’t get why some people are expecting Foden to start over Gundogan today.

Firstly Gundogan has had the whole international break off where as Foden played twice for England u21, Gundogan is also coming off the back of a good cameo against united and lastly Gundogan is a better player than Foden at this moment in time.

For me the team pretty much picks itself apart from Otta or stones (seeing as otta has had the international break off) and sane or Mahrez. I expect the team to be:

Ederson

Walker
Otamendi
Laporte
Delph

Fern
Silva
Gundogan

Sterling
Aguero
Sane
 
What a feeling it is, waking up after the international break knowing it's match day.
