But I expect it'll be the boring option of Gundogan in the middle. Pellegrini has got WHam going a bit since the dodgy early games but we seem to enjoy playing in this stadium. 3-1
FFS Gundog was the cream of Manchester, one inter national break he's boring. Haters always hate, hey ho.

I'd take 1-1 right now. Difficult away ground, tough team who are due a win, and a forward who's that good Mourinho is looking at signing him. Pellegrini will be out to prove himself as well. Yep, 1-1 a good result.

2 main dangers for West Ham, Anderson and Arnautovic keep them quiet and we should be OK.

I hope this is sarcasm......

Can’t wait for this, taking my lad for a first visit to the new stadium. Does anyone know what time the team get to the ground and if they would usually stop for pics etc? It’s usually pub for me and arrive at 2.55 so no clue and he wants some pics with the players!

I think this game will suit us down to the ground to be honest in such a big pitch we could run them ragged. One thing I am really looking forward too is seen if Pellegrini has his back line starting at the edge of the 18 yard defensively tomorrow, Plenty of spaces in behind for our wide players and midfield runners from deep.

West hams more open style suits us, as long as we're careful of the counter and are ruthless upfront we should be winning this comfortably

Raining goals.

If not in this game, where KDB and Bernardo are injured, is Phil Foden going to get a start?
Easing him in, when the whole midfield is fully fit is fine, but they are not, for me he should start tomorrow. I know "some might say" his epl debut should be at home. Looks ready to me - but only pep can say. Just my opinion that he would add more in a starting 11 than Ilkay, who is more of an impact player (last 15-30, and still essential to our team).

Not really a Gundogan hater, he's a good player. But I've never liked him filling in for the two attacking mid positions. Against the deep blocks he doesn't move into positions to receive it quickly enough and loves a backpass. He doesn't twist and turn to wrong foot players closing him down and shift the point of attack like Silva/Bernardo/even Foden do and he doesn't have the creative quality and variety in through passes and crosses of De Bruyne/Mahrez. His strengths are what he showed in the derby, when the game is in front of him and he has space to utilise he is very clever.

Maybe boring was the wrong word, I think Guardiola will see him as the "safe" choice but I'd like to see Mahrez given a chance in that role.
