If not in this game, where KDB and Bernardo are injured, is Phil Foden going to get a start?
Easing him in, when the whole midfield is fully fit is fine, but they are not, for me he should start tomorrow. I know "some might say" his epl debut should be at home. Looks ready to me - but only pep can say. Just my opinion that he would add more in a starting 11 than Ilkay, who is more of an impact player (last 15-30, and still essential to our team).

I was just thinking the same thing. Personally, if I was Foden this would be ultimatum time because he’s earned this start.

I’d like him to start too but I honestly think Pep will feel more sympathy towards Gundogan, the more senior player, than Phil. So I’d expect it to be Silva and Gundogan. I doubt Gundogan will last the 90, so Phil should get 20 mins.

My worry is our pressing game in midfield not really being there today. The drop off in that respect from Bernardo to Gundogan is quite large. So Sterling should start over Mahrez, to boost our intensity. Sané has to start on the other side in Mendy’s absence.

I'd take 1-1 right now. Difficult away ground, tough team who are due a win, and a forward who's that good Mourinho is looking at signing him. Pellegrini will be out to prove himself as well. Yep, 1-1 a good result.

We’ve scored 13 conceded 1 in our last 3 visits there.
Or have I been Clarkied?

I dont think Foden will start, would be great if he did but after international break it is important to continue the confident streak we are on then bring in Foden imo

I think we will miss mendy most, maybe not be a free scoring today and just grind out the result.

So Aguero hasn’t scored away in the Prem this year?
Really?

Scored at Cardiff a few weeks ago but he said away in England so Cardiff don't count. Still he scored away this year at Bristol so it's untrue. A poor story from Sky if true.

To be fair that must be 1 away goal in what 15-20 away games. That’s certainly an interesting stat.
