So true. I'm pissed off that he's been put in the team again.

It's obvious he'll absolutely dominated by Antonio.

I've dealt with Antonio a few times professionally and he'll be licking his lips at going against Garcia.
 
Looks like the plan is to absorb them in the first half and then have a go a them in the second.
Hope it works out for Pep
 
Is it worth registering Brian Kidd as a player as he must be quicker than Rodri and Garcia ffs.
 
Picked a team good enough to win that gives important players chance to recover from their knocks.
Points on the board is all that matters atm, not how we get them.
Comfortable win by 2+ goals.

That’s the thing that is most annoying. Sane hardly got a kick towards the end of the 18/19 season yet this guy is still starting despite playing shite and getting knocked out of competitions with him at cb.

Because this team was fucking wank against Porto and needs changing.

Garcia is weak, slow and shit in the air.
Gundo only passes sideways and can't tackle.
Rodri plays walking football.

We should have Stones or Ake at centre back, and Foden and Torres in the starting line up.

Can’t believe David Silva kept getting games last season. Better keep an eye on that Agüero as well. Seriously, can’t believe the abuse Garcia is getting. He’s our player, for God’s sake get behind him. We’re not Scousers.

Rightly so as well - did you see the performance the other night - it was one of the worst since he has been here.

His selection of players either individually or in tandem with each other which we have seen numerous time put in poor performances and yet he sticks with it is starting to come across as arrogance, stubborness or a complete failure to see the issues within the team (and i dont believe its the third option).

The only viable explanation is the injury situation
 
I can only say is Pep trying to get the sack at the moment, his team selection is baffling to say the least, surely he knows that the team lacks energy he actually said how improved we were when the two youngstars came on in midweek so why has he not at least picked the side that more or less ended the game against Porto. Let just hope for the best people, at least the bench is strong. Come on Pep you are better than this.
 
Hope Peps got it right, but that team didn't work against Porto, and I don't think it will work today, absolutely no pace, I'm shitting myself and it's only west ham.
 
we all knew the 11 today. its simple we are down to the bare bones of the squad because of injuries
like i said earlier just get the 3 points forget anything fancy and looking good on the ball
just good old fashion stuff and get the hell in and out and regroup

the fixtures are crazy and its asking to much, pep and city can not risk the best players that are only 50% fit and carrying little knocks or just not match fit, KDB on the bench is just in case we him.. but i will say pep just got him on the bench for the numbers and will not risk him
 
It is a little bizarre. Pep NEVER plays an unchanged lineup but today he chooses to do so with a team that was awful against Porto. It’s difficult to understand.

i can just about understand that Pep is starting Garcia in the hope of convincing him to stay but what I can’t understand is why Pep can’t see that he’s just not good enough.
 
we will control possession. let's hope they try to attack-because that will give us the space to counter-and will play into our hands. Strong bench if needed. 3-1 City.
