Joe cole says we havent been settled at the back for three or four years , another one slept through out achievments in that time and jumping on the pep has brought shit defenders , eric waves as does vinny , lescott was laughing
To be fair he did say it reflected well on the rest of the team and how great they've been in that time.

While he didn't articulate himself that well he makes a good point.

I have as much of an idea as you or anyone else. The last season and start of this with the notable exception of the league cup win have been a total horror show. Guardiola seems to be some kind of Godlike figure who mere mortals dare not question. Well I don't give a fuck about him. I support City not Guardiola, the club will survive just fine when he leaves. The next man will undoubtedly win trophies too. At this stage Pep is an ordinary Manager.
No more than that.
You'll get some grief for this.

Gollum finally got them playing in fits and starts.

We should be winning this comfortably though.

I see a high scoring game 4-2 to us.

Not the team I would have picked but let's hope it's good enough to do the job.

We usually do well against West Ham but that has been largely to do with the effectiveness of our attacking play and we don't seem to have that fluency at present. The line up looks a little weak defensively and not great up top. They're in decent form and we have been rather patchy thus far, so I think it may be a bit of a struggle.

Hopefully I'm wrong though and this is the day it will all start to come together again for us.

Lescott was laughing? I think Joe Cole falls into the category of good player who then tries his hand at punditry but his brain lets him down. There are numerous examples.

Garcia is a decent defender , but not the top class player we need , the fact he wants away from the club doesnt sit well with me , we are keeping him fit giving him more experience and the only club that will benefit are Barca , sure giving Stones some games and re-building his confidence is the correct move.
As for the Hammers today . our record there is excellent and Moyes will not attack us he will try and jeep solid and nick a goal ,but at least we can bring creativity off the bench if we are struggling , i will jinx it and predict a 1-0 win.

So what’s Foden done wrong to suddenly be benched the last 2 games?
Maybe saving him for CL on Tuesday ( same for KdB and Laporte?) . Thought his ball to Torres mid week was class and hard working and creative ( both of which Gundogan/ Rodri together are not IMO).
