That is the best line up possible. Fingers crossed Laporte can last the full game. Ake should of started ahead of Ferna but maybe the bench is a better option.

Fern is so shit in defence. Really wish it was Laporte and Aké.

Just have to make sure we take our chances today.

We’d have much more defending to do if it was Ake and Laporte because Ake at right centre back kills the build up. We defend through possession, so we need good balance back there to help that.

Would’ve really preferred Ake today at the back to be honest. His pace and ability to not be bullied would be useful against Bowen and Antonio.

Pep really taking the symmetry at the back to new levels preferring Ferna to an actual defender.

Fernandinho was fabulous against Wolves. Constantly making interceptions ahead of Jimenez. Tougher test today against Antonio but all faith in Fernandinho.

just the ball in behind where ANtonio will have him for pace is a concern.

However having Rodri in DM is a bonus
