Fern is a strategic move. Pace and strength is a worry but his calm presence, mental strength and game awareness will have a positive impact. It’s a risk we can take with Ake on the bench. Hopefully he is not roasted and we concede unnecessarily. Cancelo would need to have a good game. He is due tbf.

I fully expect the dippers to put about 6 or 7 past Southampton so today 3 points is all that matters.

I can't go into the last game needing a win against Villa with all the Gerrard/Coutinho hype all week leading up to it my nerves wouldn't take it. While we can of course draw or lose today and still win the league a nice win, preferably by three goals or more would be superb, because Southampton and Wolves are woeful and the scouse scum could easily hammer in ten goals over both games.

I wish that was the case but the thought of losing it to the scouse scum and them winning the quadruple has melted that steel a fair bit.
