Yea Philips might have been the better option from the start.Midfield could struggle for legs, but West Ham haven't had the best pre-season either.
Need to get Foden and Grealish one on one with the full-backs.

At the risk of sounding defeatist I would take a point here. WHU gave us a hard game last time out and with Liverpool slipping up and Utd hilariously losing defeat today wouldn’t be a disaster. It wasn’t last season v Spurs.
Do think it’s time for Foden and especially Grealish to step up this season.

Very good team. Not far off our strongest at the moment IMO.
I don't think Guardiola likes Stones and Dias together without a left-footed LB and Bernardo would start for me instead of Gundogan. Other than that, it's probably our best 11 at the moment.
I really do hope that we get a true LB at some stage as I think Cancelo and Grealish both want to go into the same spaces and it makes that side much easier to defend against than if we had a LB who could overlap. I don't think we'll really see the best of Grealish until that happens. It would also allow Stones and Dias to play together. Win, win.
