West Ham (H) | PL | Post-Match Thread

We done what we had to do tonight. We weren't at our best tonight but it still had an inevitable feel about it that we would still win the game.

Credit to West Ham they had good shape about them and made life hard for us.

The first goal was massive, Ake isn't getting enough credit for his goal. Supposedly it was Ogbanna at fault when in fact it was clever from Ake giving Ogbonna a push to make sure he would keep everyone onside.

On the downside as usual, Neville was an absolute disgrace. I enjoyed the fact the little weasel barely spoke in the second half! He was getting giddy in the first half.

Absolute clown.

Favourite moment is maybe when he subtly suggested that Liverpool & Tottenham (under pochettino) played the best football - despite both of them scoring over 200 TWO FUCKING HUNDRED goals less than the team that won 4 out of 5 premier leagues and an unprecedented never before seen domestic treble.

He really is a bitter little fucking red ****.

All that matters now are the results.

Decent second half.......... Great strike from Phil.

And well done Erling,i doubt his achievement will be bettered for a very long time.

When you see the interactions from the players in our Squad you can tell it is a very happy camp.
He'll piss his own record next season.

Performance 7/10, maybe 7.5.
Result 10/10

Delighted with that outcome. We were underwhelming in the first half, albeit against a packed defence. But once the first goal went in, and West Ham were forced to have a sort of a go, space became available. Plus, they tired as the game went on. They expended a lot of energy in that opening 45 minutes, keeping us out. It was a big ask to do it for the full 90 minutes.

I love that we wasn’t at our best but still walked to a 3-0 win.

Ake has been fucking outstanding for us this season if it wasn’t for a certain goal scoring machine he’d be in with a shout for our player of the season.

The Boys in Blue didn't give in they fought to the end. Thank you City, thank you lads, thank you fans. You showed 'em, you showed 'em all.
Especially that bubbles lot, especially that biased, stupid, Specsavers needing media crew, but especially that lot from PGMOL.

Denying 2 penalties and one of them against John Boy that is definitely NOT ON!! How dare they.

Phew though, at least I didn't bring them bad luck by posting late and doing a cut and paste at that!!! My daughter knows nothing of football and didn't know there was a match on. So I apologise. I really was getting worried (but not flapping on here) until we scored the second because of my late posting. :-) :-)

Professional performance, never really got out of second gear, didn't have to in all honesty. Just had to be patient against a well set up West Ham. Once the first goal went in could see what was going to happen.

Ake superb again, his goal was vital and he's been utterly superb all season. Full credit to him.

What more can you say about Haaland. Greatest single season in Premier League history, he's just getting better as well with his all round play. Thought he just cruised tonight but he's a ever present threat and it's a privilege to see him in a City shirt.

Onto Leeds now, a win there with Arsenal going to Newcastle may be a defining weekend in the title race.
