I think a few months back we wouldn’t have seen that out. Professional and well managed. Kudos Pep... his press conference maybe did enough and his subs certainly did. It’s like he felt that performance was coming yet did enough to make sure it didn’t spoil our momentum. Well played Pep.

I think it was probably a pen but definitely of the soft variety.

Not pretty, but we have had a serious run of tiring games. A win is all that matters.
Really poor display by Mahrez, his attitude when he walked off was awful, like he didn’t give a monkeys. He should never be chosen over Bernardo, EVER!
Sane wasn’t much better, and was right to be subbed.
On a plus side, we controlled the game well and moved it around, but yet again we are ridiculously wasteful in-front of goal. We seem insistent on walking the ball into the goal or scoring from inside the 6 yard box.
Good game for Gundog, it was an easy pace for him and not too much pressure.
Zinch has a couple of brain farts, and against more competent opponents will be really punished.
Danilo has a decent run out and deserved his place today.
KDB & Merlin are probably shattered, and could do with a rest.

Onwards Blues. One game at a time. Fcuk everyone else and their results. Ours are what matters.
Beat who we have in front of us and let them worry.

Soft. Could’ve gone either way but the biased, cheating referee gave it. Weird.

A tired and at times lacklustre performance. Some of of passing was unusually wayward. We’ve had 3 very tough games in a week, so let’s just ponder on that for a moment; and then realise we’ve come through all of them. We had a few of this type of game last season as well. West Ham frustrated us, but we never stopped playing our game. A deserved victory in the end. The results are all that matter now.

Both full backs had great games. Danilo offers so much more going forward than Walker it's not even funny. Hard watch though and the big chance for them did come. Zinch badly caught out for that one.

A coming together of legs rather than a deliberate clipping of his ankle, so one we rarely get but one other teams often get.

Thought we played well tonight and far better than Sunday,was just too much faffing about in the final third,sometimes you just get games like that,I’d be more concerned if we weren’t creating chances,end of the day it’s three points and move onto Bournemouth were we need to put our chances away get the win at all costs and put pressure on the scousers going into their derby game ..

Given the amount of football some of our key players have played this week I was surprised at the amount of energy we had. Yes the finish was lacking but I worry more when we’re not creating chances. Mahrez was the culprit in the first half - he is lacking confidence and he needs to shape up as we need him to step up.

Given some of the stone wall pens we’ve not been given I thought the one today was a bit soft. Three points is all that matters.

You can't be both wasteful and clueless. If you're clueless you don't create anything. If your wasteful you have created lots. but missed them. Yes we were a bit wasteful but at least created chances. And as wasteful as we might have been, no one would have ripped us apart

I don't think a football forum is for you pal. If you could only see that this time of the season is all about getting points on the board, by either winning playing like Brazil or playing like the dog and duck it doesn't really matter but this time of the season when the games come thick and fast performance goes out of the window.
You have come on here swinging your handbag like a good un and to be honest with you have made yourself look a proper nobhead and in my opinion isn't a city fan whatsoever .
