As an aside, isn't is great to see West Ham have a proper competitive side again?

A proper club and I would love to see them finish in the top four or six, hopefully they go to United soon and really put the cat amongst the pigeons!!

Irony, Liverpool fans hoping City win the League Cup so they can squeak Europe.

If I were a Londoner, Irons would always be my team, genuine people, don't suffer fools, always like City fans, knowing what it is like to get the shitty end of the stick.

I agree. Lovely to see West Ham up there. If I was from East London I'd be a Hammer too. West? - QPR probably. Stan Bowles would have hooked me!

Not at our most fluent but nevertheless 3 points and a well-earned win against a difficult opponent. Feels like we are redefining what it means when we say "typical City".

He’s 20 in his first season in a new country. And then got a bad case of Covid. He’ll turn out to be a great player for us

I agree. I think the lad has done well playing in several positions in a new country. Think people need to cut him some slack as he's already scored important goals for us.
Should have done better with their goal but thought he played ok today
