West Ham (H) Post Match Thread

You don’t think it’s hard for a pair of centre backs to score more goals themselves than they concede over about 16 games or however many they have played together?
No, it's not exactly hard to score more than 3 goals :)

. . . . . . .

TWENTY F*CKING WINS ON THE BOUNCE!!!

Never in my wildest dreams did I think we'll be here after the start we had.

. . . . . . . .
The thought crossed my mind deep in the early sixties that it would be nice to turn up for a season at Maine Road and win twenty on the bounce!! The idea would have vanished ten minutes into the first game of the season.

He really wasn't but today is not a day for calling anyone out.

Fantastic bit of skill and assist for the winning goal so he definitely played his part
He was for me . He was constant threat throughout the game and worked their full back to ground .
The amount of hate he gets here is undeserved and today is the day to call as is.

Thought we improved second half after a very poor first half. We can’t afford to carry that many players in a game and really expect to get away with it so that being it was a fantastic 3 points against a very well organized side. Kev needed that 90 minutes and will do him the world of good.

If I’m being completely honest he’s been way off his best most of this season. His amazing assist stats disguise the truth, which is he’s not been playing well. Injuries aside he has had no proper rest for a very long time and he really looks like he could use one.

Cant disagree tbh. At times he seems to try and force a worldly pass rather than a simple one and we lose possession. If he can try and play a tad more simple at times he'd be fine.

Agree with many - had to grind it out
Thought Zinchenko played well as did other defenders.
Thought Torres looked a threat
Gundog anonymous and Fernandinho's passing poor
West Ham deserved a point but our squad and winning mentality is awesome.
Onto Tuesday and let's make it 21 in a row

We weren't at it today, too many sloppy passes but a win is a win. Like Pep said after the game "you cant paint a beautiful picture every time"

Important win that against a good West Ham side who are a real challenge. It was particularly difficult just two and a half days after a long trip to Hungary and a lot of changes. It didn't flow as well as usual but West Ham deserve some credit for that. They could have grabbed a draw at the end and I don't thibk it would have flattered them to be blunt. Our back four were really good particularly Stones and Dias in the centre, and Zinchenko had a cracking game at left back.

Good luck to West Ham. I really hope they get top four.

Well done and best of luck to our Boys in Blue.

20 successive wins. Respect.

PS. Sorry, Diashhhhh.

i ruled out top 4 but after that performance we do have a tiny chance.
we just have to keep everyone fit, especially Rice, Souchek and Antonio as we have no replacements for them.
At certain moment during half time was thinking, fuck it, if the irons beat us, it'll be not that hard to take, as they'll be hammering for a top 4 spot at the dippers and maybe rags expense. And the Moyseiah has built a very fine side. And always have a soft spot for WHUFC.
Little did I know that our lads relentlessness crushed my wavering feelings for London's finest.

Good luck Irons for the rest of the season.

Come on you beautiful fucking blues!

I'm not hating when I say he wasn't MotM. He beat the full back twice in the game. One was for the goal so a telling contribution.
