If Willy's passing in those games were woeful, then I can only imagine Hart's being even worse. Passing when nobody presses u is different to passing when teams press u aggressively. See his passing against Bucharest away. Not easy to get 100% right when they press u like that. Hart would hv shat it! And at Stoke, again with that wind and pitch, when even our technical midfielders were struggling to ping balls, Willy did reasonably well. With Hart in these matches, Im not sure we would hv initiated half the attacks we initiated. By not playing Hart, Pep is helping to build this myth that Hart is some extraordinary alien with his feet. Hart fans should be relieved. If a coach like Pep who knows more than most about sweeper keepers, feels Willy is better than Hart in this regard, I would be inclined to go with his judgement. The sooner some ppl accept this, the better.

They'll park the bus and hit on the break. We'll need an early goal, to get them to venture out. Hope this possession thing doesn't bore us to death!
It certainly doesn't bore me to death but I'm not one of those shouting "get it forward" because I'm not a pillock.

Good luck Blues

Less confident I've felt by West Ham in a long time - frustrating with so many out injured , but even with a fit squad it's a tough ask - Still, you never know.

No idea what team will be. I fear Payet has gone so my guess.

Adrian

Bryam
Ogbonna
Reid
Masuaku

Obiang
Kayoute
Noble
Antonio
Lanzini

Calleri

- Fletcher may start up top but as only a kid I don't think Bilic will play him.

Would take a 0-0 !

COME ON YOUUUUUU IRONS
Fuck off, silly cockney cunts, come on City.

West Ham can go back to being my second favourite Prem team tomorrow, today they can burn.

Joe in my opinion is better than Willy in every department if you`ve seen all the matches that Willy has played in his passing to the defenders has been nothing short of woeful

If it is 'woeful' it's still actually a better success rate than Joe's, so it just shows how far away Joe is.

I think on the whole people look at it the wrong way. Pep is not there shouting at the keepers for getting a pass wrong, he's shouting at them for not spotting a pass & attempting it, in the first place.

He accepts that passes will go wrong & even that it will sometimes result in a goal against. The same will happen to Stones or VK or Otamendi or Kolarov. He will accept it as one of he hazards of this style. That doesn't mean he will accept them getting it wrong all the time or cracking up, but he'll accept some mistakes.

If you watch Willy & Bravo play, a simple difference between them & Joe, as one example, is the straight pass down the middle to the midfield, sometimes between oppo players trying to press.

It's unnatural for Joe to play that ball. But all Pep's keepers do. So do our academy keepers. If Joe has to make that pass, but really doesn't want to, he wil more than likely fuck it up, or choose the wrong time to do it, or hesitate, so we get mugged, because it's not in his nature. Then he's under more pressure the next time etc etc.

It has to become something he is comfortable with, & sees the possibilities of, not something he is forced to do & thinks is wrong.
