West Ham playing Thursday night and need to go strong as the tie is in the balance

Also got a few injuries, not sure what the score is with Payet. Injured or rested?

West Ham have to get through their Europa League tie tomorrow (1-1, after 1st leg), so less opportunity to rest players. Our players should be slightly fresher, if that matters at this stage of the season, lets go into the break with maximum points!

Predicted team:
Bravo (If it's announced tomorrow)
Zaba
Stones
Otamendi
Kolarov
Fernandinho
KDB
Silva
Sterling
Aguero
Nolito

Please, for the love of God, no Jesus Navas. Please.

I've had enough.

Inspite of his poor final balls, Navas has made 2 goals this season, one of them gave us 3 points!

He is a good functional option to hv to stretch the opposition & also give Sterling some rest time. I would say important squad player.

Bravo
Zabaleta Otamendi Stones Kolarov
Fernandinho
Sterling Silva De Bruyne Nolito
Aguero

Subs: Navas, Sané, Iheanacho

Dyou ever, whilst writing out the possible teams, still think to yourself fuck me, is this really my Manchester city, or is it some glorious dream, I do and that team would be very close to a wet one.

Zabaleta - Fernandinho - Kolarov
- Sterling --- Silva -- De Bruyne - Nolito
Aguero

Caballero, Maffeo, Clichy, Delph, Navas, Sane, Iheanacho

winner!!

I still can't figure out how we lost the home game last season. Baffled.

As others have said, we will have more rested players than West Ham, as they are playing tonight, and they do seem to have a few injuries.

One great thing, is the fact Andy Carroll is injured, as he always seems to do well against us.

3-1 City.

This. Won 4/4 games so far, would only be 2/4 if not for Navas. People often forget this.

i don't think, listening to peps comments that sane will even make the bench....
We won't have kelechi either on the bench - it looked to me as he pulled his hamstring last night (some people said calf)
Sagna also likely out as well

Think the team picks itself at present with the injuries besides the kolorov or clichy question at left back

navas back on the bench with sterling and nolito outwide

Pep's idea to wide players - doesnt matter if u fail once, twice, thrice. Keep going. The moment u get it right far outweighs the number of times u fail. Of course, he can be frustrating but he is a "threat" to the opposition team no doubt. They HAVE to pin their fullback to cover for him & at times double up on him. His decision-making can improve. But Pep is here to help. He is also a hardworker willing to track back. Ticks more than one box to be useful to the squad.
