Think we'll line up like this:

Caballero
Zabaleta
Stones
Otamendi
Clichy
Fernandinho
Silva
De Bruyne
Nolito
Sterling
Aguero

Looking forward to it, after something of a damp squib on Wednesday night.

That does seem to be his preferred 11 at the moment Ric.

West Ham will be up for this. They'll have a point to prove after going out of Europe.

I thought we got stoke at a decent time before they'd found any rhythm at home.

This will be our toughest game so far I think.

I'm probably tempting fate here, but I think it's a good time to play them. They're missing a lot of players through injury, and their fans seem gutted about the early European exit. Looking at their forums there's a lot of discontent, and very little confidence about the game on Sunday.

All of which means we'll probably lose.

I would have though Kolarov instead of Clichy?

Why weren't they up against a mid table Romanian side.... in front of their home crowd... on a European night... with a new stadium lol? I think it's a slim chance they risk Payet/Lanzini. Think they will wait until after the international break so there isn't any setbacks. It's early days and their record signing is already out for 4 months, they don't want to chance ruining their entire season unless they are suddenly 100% fit overnight.

I hate Sunday 16:00 matches almost as much as Monday nights. Give me my city fix now.

This season is the worst in recent memory. It's fantastic watching us, as well as watching the man on the sideline. I could watch match after match. Wish we were the 12:30 Saturday kick off.

Is Sagna fit? If so, would start him and Clichy at full back, with Stones and Otamendi at CB and Caballero in goal.

The rest of the team pretty much picks itself until we get the likes of Kompany, Gundogan, Sane fit to play.

I'll take 1:0 and some decent fluent football. Our closing down has been a joy to watch. Sorry if it's been answered but any news on gundogan and sane? C'mon city!!
Not sure. On physio room it has Kelechi as fit for tomorrow, and Sagna/Kompany/Sane/Gundogan for Sept 10 (swamp)

He didn't sound overly impressed with structure of the draw. Almost an inference that it was deliberate.

There is a certainly a common feeling within the club that we are being persistently stitched.
We were stitched up, coming out last of the 8 teams in our pot is fine, luck of the draw and all that, but its very bloody strange coincidence it then happened for the next two bowls as well, the odds must be quite long for that, and amazingly we got the hardest group of all, again.

Coincidences are, by definition, strange. As for the hardest group? Not sure how you arrive at that conclusion. Due to the congestion of teams in pots 1 and 2 from Germany, Spain and England, we were always very likely to get Barca, Madrid or Munich from pot 1. We then drew the lowest ranked team in pot 3 (who we beat home and away last season, with no plan and an apparent no-mark for a manager) and Celtic. It's really not the end of the world.
Rail against the intricacies of the draw and its asinine rules by all means. Personally, I would keep the pots but remove the 'teams playing each other from the same countries' rule. What's wrong with a group of Leicester, City/Arsenal, Spurs and Pot 4? Or Bayern, Dortmund, Borussia and Pot 4?
If you think the draws are bad now wait until there are guaranteed to be 16 teams from Spain, Germany, England and Italy.
