Stones and Jesus are already out injured ... Laporte and Fernandinho have gone off injures today ... and everyone else has got tough long 120 minutes in their legs ...

But I guess winning the trophy in the end would give a high that could keep this team going ... also don’t underestimate the boost we’d have gotten in the league by Liverpool dropping two more points today ...

So c’mon Pellegrini, Nasri and Zaba ... take it easy on the boys ;)

Liverpool could very well drop more points in next two games this coming week, they have Watford at home at the same time on Wednesday and then on the weekend while we go away to Bournemouth (on Saturday), they go to Everton (on Sunday) ...

Win our two games and we’re back on top before their derby game and pressure will be well and truly back on them ...

Will all the injuries I guess this is what we’d field against West Ham:

Ederson
Walker - Kompany - Ottamendi - Danilo
KdB - Gundo - Bernardo
Mahrez - Aguero - Sane

Ederson
Zinchenko
Otamendi
Kompany
Walker/Danilo
Gundogan
Bernardo
Foden
Sané
Aguero
Mahrez

Need to rotate desperately to stay fresh, especially considering today went to extra time. We must use the squad to give us the best chance.

I think today we've hit the point where no matter what we just need to find a way to win. The next 3 months are going to be brutal but we wouldn't want it any other way.

Just get the 3 points in this one.

--------------------Ederson
Danilo----Kompany-----Otamendi-----Zinchenko
-----------De Bruyne----Gundogan
Mahrez--------------Bernardo---------------Sane
--------------------Sterling

Subs: Muric, Walker, Foden, D. Silva, Aguero, ?????, ?????

Might be a lot to ask of Bernardo and Sterling after playing 120mins in midfield but think they're the fittest to deal with it.

Not sure when Laporte, Fernandinho, Stones, Mendy, Jesus and Delph are available but we'll have to deal with it as best we can.

Time for Danilo and Mahrez to step up to the plate. Zinchenko has shown that game time can help settle a player, and the turn around for the next two games means we cannot rely solely on de Bruyne/Silva/Aguero. If we do, it'll have a greater impact in a few weeks. Time to flood the midfield and get two scrappy wins.

---------------Ederson
Walker--Stones--Otamendi--Delph
----------------KDB
-----Bernardo----------Silva
Mahrez------Jesus------Sane
