I despair with our website I really do!

My expectations for tonight:

• Manuel will hear the Lamborghini song before kick-off
• Pellers will not park the bus
• Mark Noble will foul Merlin in the first 30 mins
• Danilo, Sane, Kompany and Gundogan will all start

My hopes:

• Kev and Merlin find their A-game
• We suffer no more injuries or get bad decisions
• Pep has got his press conference 'no excuses' message in the head of every City player on and off the field
• We have a clear lead with 10 mins left and *Zaba scores a screamer for the Hammers followed by City (and Hammers) fans singing his songs until the final whistle

* Probably his last game at the Etihad

Just let Kun go at them he’s raring to go! As they use set pieces will need some height back there. Would not be surprised if Sandler makes a start.

Bernado and Sterling off the bench if needed in the last 30minutes. Jesus if healthy should get on at minute 65. Pre-planned to rest Aguero.

David Silva should be wrapped in wool. Day off. See you as starter for the weekend. I won't even have David on the bench.

Not worth starting a thread just for this, so I'm putting it here. Sorry, mods. Anybody having any trouble with Citywatch? I can get onto it — I go on it pretty much every day — but it's got no updated information since 22nd. Normal?

Nothing wrong with most of that, and I can see the argument for resting Merlin, but I wouldn't have that midfield. Bernardo definitely alongside Kev and Gundo. He's the only person playing at present who doesn't look jaded. And we need his skills. Bernardo S over Delph all day long. Rest him a bit later.
