I found my inner Pep today, ran for a few minutes then cleaned my bathroom and kitchen floors. C'mon you blues, don't let me down now.

Like Pep said in his press conference, the reason for our good defensive record is not just the back four, it's the way the whole team are working so hard as a unit. I'm really enjoying watching the way City are defending as a team at the moment, I find it fascinating to watch. We are managing to restrict most teams to hardly any opportunities to score at all. I'm finding myself almost as entertained by keeping clean sheets as scoring goals.

I honestly go into every game now not really fearing any team. West Ham are a good side and deserve to be where they are in the table on merit. It will be a test today but I think this team will come through it again. After today I wish the Irons well though as I'd love to see them get in the top 4.

It’s started I see....
Darren Lewis article saying Moyes deserves manager of year above pep!
Seasons not ended and they are spouting this shite!
West Ham will probably finish bottom half and we could win it all
But there again they may finish top four and we win the league
Just trying to derail truth and start a narrative

rodri,ferandinho,gundugan,kdb,bernardo,foden,mahrez,sterling,torres,jesus,aguero.

all fit and want play.

now pick 6,happy i not the coach.

Ederson
Walker Stones Dias Cancelo
Bernardo Rodri Gundogan
Mahrez Debruyne Foden
He won’t play Dias and stones together if cancelo is on the left. I think he’s already said so. I’d go
Eddy
Cancelo Dias stones zinch
Gundo rodri
Berni
Mahrez Jesus Phil
I’d bring Ken on 2nd half - he has to earn his spot atm and no sense in rushing him. As much as I stick up for raz, I don’t think he warrants his place atm. It’s the sort of game Mahrez shines in. I’d love Torres to get a start but if we make too many changes we might fuck up. 4 per game is just about ok I recon

Getting quite nervous about the match, which logically doesn’t make much sense, but I think it’s started to kick in as this winning run is getting longer and longer.
Is it true Pep never eats on a matchday until after the game?
I think I might be able to manage that today.

I couldn’t eat much on match days in the run in of the 18/19 season!

lovely sunny day, still a little bit nippy, but a lovely day for football, looking forward to the game, think we will see something special today, just feel it in my waters , cmon blues 4-0 ,and as pep would say , come on the irons lol.

I wonder if this will be the game where the goals arrive?

Sooner or later we are going to match this defensive and possession dominance with the record breaking goalscoring we've had in previous seasons.

Aguero is back, KDB is back and maybe fired up because he didn't walk back in the side, Gabby is playing well and just needs the final piece of the jigsaw, Torres is coming back from covid, Sterling needs goals, Mahrez is playing more, and a bit better.

West Ham defend deeper than any other side in the league according to Opta, so maybe today is not the game, but if we get an early goal, will Moyes keep them sat back? They went all out against Spurs at 3-0 down and got rewarded for it.

It’s the most relax I’ve seen Pep he trusts every player in our squad and his change of system tactics to stop the opposition scoring.

Get a couple early goals can see 4/5 goals.
