Seems you can't say anything negative. Even if it's warranted. He needed dropping. That isn't even a negative.
Sterling hasn't been dropped, Pep is rotating the squad their is a big difference. Not having a go at you by the way.
He was poor by his standards midweek, Missed chances against Arsenal nitness a constant threat throughout the game and got the winner.
Even if he doesn't play well he causes major problems with his movement in behind.

It probably hasn’t been but feels like a while since we’ve had a game wrapped up by HT.

KDB and KUN when did they play together the last time? Fully fit btw.

Neither of us will know as Pep wouldn't say either way. But for me he's been dropped due to his constant dilly dallying. I was screaming at the telly as loud as Pep was on the sidelines on Wednesday. He even said we can't keep being that wasteful at that level. How best to get that message across? 'Rest' him next game. It's long due. And will hopefully serve its purpose.

Really enjoying Pep's press conference's now. He's shoving their stupid questions right back at them and they don’t know what to do with it.
One muppet asked him if really thought it was all about the money and Pep basically said of course it is. The guy just seemed to gulp.
I was thinking the same. Managers like Fergie and Mourinho used them to control the agenda, the latter was even more devious and used for entertainment value to distract from the lack of entertainment his teams provide.

With Pep (and all our post-takeover managers) the entertainment is on the pitch and the conferences were an unwelcome distraction. The raggy and the dippy managers were all about sound bites and Pep just wanted to talk about the football. There was a famous incident during the Mourinho Pep El Classico era where Barca were winning the trophies and Mourinho was mouthing off in the pressers. Apparently Pep then spurted out something along the lines of He (Mourinho) fu@king wins in here (the press room) whether we (Barca) fu@king win out there (on the pitch). The Barcelona fans loved him for it. I think we are starting to witness a similar bite back on our behalf, if God is a city fan then Pep is his son on earth.
