It feels great to have a striker whom defenders fear, again. Haaland will be disappointed overall that he 'only' got two.

Haaland obviously. But a special mention for Cancelo's defensive performance. Didn't have a huge amount to do, but didn't let anyone past him all game. Won every tackle in that second half.

This is why I think he is the best fullback at the club. He is a damned good defender and an exceptional player on the ball. The overdribbling and Hollywood attempts notwithstanding. What he brings at every level makes him shade it over Kyle.

On a normal game Rodri wins this as his performance was up there with one of the best holding midfielders performances I've seen in a long time, but being as it was Haalands debut and he was desperate to score to silence the naysayers - i voted for our new no 9.
Some of Cancelos play was utterly sublime and he looks right on it at the start of the season. Please no more reverse lazy leg challenges, just work your bollocks off to get back.

I’m 70 minutes into watching the full 90 back from Sunday, and Gundogan had a really good game, better than I remember.

Haaland scored two goals from very little but I think Rodri was absolute class all over the pitch and would be my man of the match.
