West Ham Post Match Thread | Friendly in Iceland

Looks like no injuries, so a good run out and opportunity for them to gel more.

If they're ever making a remake of Zulu, then Joe 'Hold the Line' Hart is a shoe in.
After 20 mins listening to him the defence must think shut the fuck up and do your job and leave us to do ours

I think this is the team we ended with by the way.

----------------Ederson
-----Tosin--Fernandinho--Mangala-----
Walker--------------------------Zinchenko
-----Roberts-Foden-Bernardo-------
-----------------Diaz
---------------Sterling

We look better this pre season than last. Not sure if that's a barometer or not.

Is 3-5-2 a possibility? He tried it last year then got rid for the league season. We didn't have the full backs then, but we do now.

I'm just not sure it will work in the PL

I don't see why not, at least not in the big games. Against the parked buses, maybe not.

if the rumours about joe and the dressing room fall-outs are true I can understand.

Our players don't really seem the type to take kindly to constant bellowing at them all game

Not quite as impressive as the Madrid and Spurs games, but showed enough to break down a defensive team.

Going off preseason we have to find a way to get Sterling on the pitch.

Only saw patches of the game but it was good to see KDB running and driving at the west ham defence. We don't seem to have played many games preseason but it looks like we will be going in in decent knick which hopefully will keep us fresh going into Christmas
