Better from everybody really until the last 15 minutes. Good games banked for Fernando and Mangala. Worried about Silva. Pellegrini had an excellent chance at 2-0 up with 20 minutes to go to bring on Pozo for Silva and show a bit of faith in youth for the first real time in his City career. Glad we got Nasri and Dzeko instead, they made such a huge difference to the game rather than giving youth a bit of a chance in a safe game when we had Silva go off and Aguero worried about an injury. Tosser.

Aside from that gripe it was job done, though West Ham were abysmal in the first half.

Aside from that gripe it was job done, though West Ham were abysmal in the first half.

Again, if they fluked a goal on the counter, the manager would have been crucified for putting Pozo in rightly or wrongly.

As for the effort, I think Silva's injury took the air out of the team.

Good team selection, good shape, good performance. Shame we didn't score a few more - let down by a lack of quality at times in the final third (Navas and Kolarov especially). But job done.

Wins a win and its all that mattered today. Very good first half with total control.

Shocking last 20 mins when they decided to just not give a flying fuck once again and but for Hart, they could have got back into it.

Season cant end quick enough and the summer needs to bring major changes.

Much much better. Silva injury slowed the game down on our side I hope he's ok. Mangala looked good again hopefully a run of games will bring him on.

On to Villa now and another 3 points needed.
