First post here. Been a Blue all my life (48 now) and had season tickets at Maine Road with my Dad from a really young age and spent many a Saturday on the Kippax when I was older. Never got involved in forums much, although I read this one a lot. Decided it's about time to join up and wish everyone well for tomorrow.
Anyway, been bricking it since Wednesday night and don't know what to do with myself until game kicks off. Been reading all the media vomit on "the neutrals favorites" and it's driving me mental. Almost enough to make me want to cut my ears off and gouge my eyes out so I can't hear or see anymore of it. Especially after I spent some time on RAWK. Never ever seen such a great big pile of steaming donkey sh*t in my life. Loved the guy who said we should have been deducted 5 points for the FFP issue. Ha ha. Great. I wonder why he happened to choose 5 points ? One even said it should have happened sooner so we would have been forced to sell Dzeko end of last season because he was out of favour with RM, and therefore he wouldn't have scored the important goals lately. Then there's the guy who reckons that despite what happens tomorrow, Pool have won the "Technical Moral Victory" anyway. Wow. Well done them. I wonder if they're going to have a parade to show off the "Technical Moral Victory Trophy" ?
Good job I gave up boozing a few months back !! Was even thinking of breaking it tomorrow and going to grab a few beers for the fridge. I sure as hell need something. This whole experience has been surreal, draining, exciting, all at the same time and fifty times a day.
Please please please please City. No QPR repeat. Couldn't stand that. Want us to be 5-0 up by half time so I can enjoy it.
