I thought Allardyce was spot on, playing against a team with 10 men doesn't automatically guarantee a 4/5-0 thrashing. I just find it astonishing that after a win against relegation rivals, and gaining a vital 3 points that has probably secured premier league status for another season, that fans can boo!

On the flip side if I was a West Ham fan I'd want more out of the 13th best paid manager in the world. Big Sam's teams always have and always will play mind numbingly dull football, even Stoke have started playing more entertaining football this year. If being a premier league team is all you aspire to be then he's your man but I'm not sure how long I could keep paying to watch centre backs knock it up to Andy Carroll.
