West Ham United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

It's not just Pep's fault FFS! Straight after a loss everyone turns to Pep. Obviously it's partly down to him and he should be doing a lot better in a lot of sectors, but look at the talent we've got on the pitch. Against relegation-battling West Ham, who are an absolute mess inside and out.
When you say talent, what talent?
What players are getting into prime city teams of recent past?

Fucking terrible. No team has any divine right to win all the time but the drop off of this team is fucking biblical.

We’ve gone from the best side in the world, with the best manager of all time, to a side I don’t even enjoy watching anymore. We are boring as fuck and have bought a shitload of players that wouldn’t have made our 25 man squad 3 years ago.

We are actually so bad nowadays, there an argument that we should be delighted that we are somehow looking nailed on for top 4.

Just like after the Madrid game the time has come to make a change. We have crashed out of two competitions and will get a footballing lesson next weekend. Pep needs to go and likely so does Haaland.
A football lesson from Arse Anal?? Give me a break. Maybe a lesson in how to hump our goalkeeper on corners. They play shit football too

Run out of puff this season. Had a great run for ten games. Now knackered. With no idea what best set up or team selection is. No idea what happens in the Cup final. We used to have players who would have won that come what may in Kev, vinnie, Sergio and David silva. This squad nowhere near what we’ve been lucky enough to watch in seasons gone by.

Piss away the first 80 minutes by playing like we are 3 or 4 goals up and offer very little. I'm assuming they are Peps tactics.

Well done Haaland, no injury and a game closer to the World Cup.

Pep before game:

"Now its West Ham. The Premier League is the most difficult title. We're still there, knowing that if we drop points it will be over."

We dropped points vs relegation level and very poor WHU and yes its over. we still need to visit likes of Chelsea, Everton, Bournemouth and chances are we aint winning any of that three imo.

today Arteta put Pep under pressure with the late win, and we didnt like that pressure because the pressure didnt come from a shit WHU clearly they had one corner nothing else.

Forest and WHU. 17th and 18th. wow. we cant even beat these. we were dogshit for 55 mins when bit of urgency started to happen. too little too late.

Deserved to win. If Cherki had started, we would have
No we wouldn't..
With Such predictable performance... Team looks like first season of Pep... Gooners deserve to be champions, and i don't want to think the league cup final under this form...

Evidently, Pep's gambit of ratcheting up the pressure on his players before the match didn't have the desired effect. He looks to me like a manager who has already made up his mind to leave at season's end, and I suspect that the players all know that. It's been an incredible run under Pep, but I would really like to win the FA and Carabao Cups before he goes, if that is what will transpire at season's end.

Completely devoid of expression, flair, creativity and guile. That's top down stuff.

shit finishing amd not picking cherki from the start cost us im that first half, plus that team had pace, but we insit on slowing down the game, which never gives us an advantage

The UCL is done. The league has been done. We’d be lucky to win any domestic cup. I wonder where we go from here. Will we keep spending and buying more players, or will questions be asked ? It will be so difficult to come to terms with the fact that we don’t win trophies anymore. I miss it so much.
