West Ham United (A) | Post-Match Thread

Thought Antonio for such a big build bloke was pathetic. Falls over so bloody easily. And than slams his fists into the turf like a fucking 2 year old. How he wasnt booke for his piss poor behaviour is a joke.

Perhaps I have been watching to much cycling why the little blokes just get up after losing their skin on the tarmac.

Why on earth did Pep change the team that played so well against Wolves. Sterling and Foden should have started. He didn't use a single sub again either.
They both need to come in next week as starters for Mahrez and Grealish don’t they?

I know we don’t overly want to be playing two left footed Centre backs, but we have no choice watching Fernandinho today, Ake must start. Love him but that was harrowing to watch at times, Ings will bully him in the same way Antonio did today.

Hopefully Walker is fit and we can put Zin on the bench.

I just feel an enormous sense of relief despite the penalty miss. That was the game, the banana skin and had we lost the dippers would have (they may still do) utterly battered Southampton.

Re: a quick winger - get Harrison back from Leeds? Obviously Pep doesn't rate him, otherwise we wouldn't have sold him. Have rated his performances for Leeds, personally.
Tbh think he is their level not ours, sometimes players do well until scouted and then their performances tail off

I've not seen a right winger I like the look off but only really watch city matches so their must be one out there

Considering how poor the defence was, we have got out of jail and the point does more for us than Liverpool today.

Who knows about Tuesday, but please no Fern or Zin next weekend.

Pleased for Jack, him and Jesus earned us those points today.
Who plays left back then?

We weren’t great today, especially in the first half.

i think the fact that Pep didnt make any substitutions tells us our injury problems are deeper than we thought.

Saints are safe, have nothing to play for and have been beaten comfortably in recent games. They've won 1 of their last 10, shipped 6 to Chelsea, 4 to Villa and 3 to Brentford. There's no chance Dippers do anything other than win by 4+

We now have to win next weekend. All Mahrez had to do was score a penalty and we wouldn't. We always make it hard for ourselves.
Dippers will be tired after the cup final and will possibly rest a few players. Southampton will have had a 10-day break. Suspect the dippers will still win but might not be as easy as many think.

I

Didn't say you were overreacting. I said you're a miserable twat.
By being realistic that Liverpool are Southampton?
You and people like you are what’s wrong with this forum.
Start dishing out abuse cos you don’t agree with what someone else says.

Mahrez takes the PK everyday its fine. It wasn't the worst PK either, just a good save.
Would take the 2-2 considering they could have nicked one with their route 1 stuff. Just sucks with our luck on penalties at the important moments.
Will be a fiesty last game, but being home and hopefully a week break with Ake/Stones being back will make a big difference. Acutally think the 1 week break is going to help us a lot.
Have to remember West Ham had a weeks rest and we played in 3 days.
It was a fucking terrible penalty what the fuck were you watching!

The let off steam thread. In all honesty if we can't beat Villa at home to win the PL then we are obviously not good enough. I think the collapse in Madrid shown us a glaring lack of leadership when put under a little bit of pressure. This summer will need no complacency with recruitment.
